Hi! I’m Mike, I’ve recently joined Digital Storm as a Marketing Intern between my first and second-year studies at university.
Having lived in Poole all my life and discovering Bournemouth University offered a Marketing course that covered everything I was looking for, it was an easy decision to remain in the town!
I am currently studying Marketing Communications (the same course as my colleague Chris!) where I am developing my practical digital marketing skills as well as covering fundamental marketing theory. I am also undertaking a Chartered Institute of Marketing Qualification. I’m really interested to dive deeper into how technology is offering business new opportunities with their marketing activities in my second and third year of studies.
On my first day at Digital Storm, I was excited to get stuck in straight away, assisting with social media channel optimisation as well as content creation. I am also keen to develop my SEO optimisation skills to gain a deeper understanding of the many factors affecting website ranking and the best practices to follow.
I’m looking forward to seeing the variety of projects I’ll be working on throughout my time at Digital Storm!
