Hello, I’m James. I’m currently interning at Digital Storm as part of the digital marketing team. I joined back at the beginning of January.
I’ve lived in Bournemouth my whole life loving the seaside air and the creative industries that fill the Bournemouth high street. I studied Business and Management at the University of Sussex which has given me a good overview of the many business functions. This will help me to better understand the needs of Digital Storm’s clients.
I’ve always had a passion for digital marketing and in understanding customer behaviour when interacting online. I am looking forward to learning all about how to convey products to customers through search engine optimisation, paid search, email and content marketing. I have already begun studying towards becoming AdWords certified.
During my first few weeks at Digital Storm, I have been getting involved in a variety of work such as blog writing, keyword research, interpreting website data and optimising pages for search.
I feel welcome as part of the digital marketing team and how everyone is happy to spend time training me. I look forward to the growth that I will make during the next ten weeks.
