Maintain Drains

The brief

Maintain Drains are a well established, reliable and professional drainage company, specialising in both residential and commercial drainage across the South of England.

The drainage and plumbing industry is a competitive one; with sole-traders, small, large and even international companies all going after the same work. Maintain Drains came to Digital Storm looking primarily to improve their search presence and rankings to combat this. Taking into account the return time on Search Engine Optimisation, Digital Storm started off by assessing Maintain Drains current PPC efforts.

Our response

Following a review of their Google PPC Advertising campaigns, Digital Storm redid the account setup and structure with new campaigns and adverts covering the specific services which were being advertising.

Moving on to SEO, Digital Storm initially made various updates and changes to the website. This included the addition of a suite of service pages that gave the site a better opportunity to search for specific keywords. With this initial house-keeping out of the way, an ongoing SEO strategy was established that included a variety of techniques. This included an increase in blog, reviews and news content as well as external link building to improve the sites domain authority.

Results

Digital Storm has now been working closely with Maintain Drains on their online presence since 2017. As of March 2020, a brand new website has been launched. This was incorporated into the strategy to combat technical drawbacks from the website which we had previously inherited rather than developed in-house. This new site not only seeks to rectify such issues such as page speed and URL structures, but Digital Storm took the opportunity to elevate the Maintain Drains brand to better position them above the sole-traders and smaller drainage businesses that they are competing with.
